Established in 1955, our family run business has gone from strength to strength, catering for all ages, for all
their art and craft needs.
We have become one of Darlington’s most popular shops for families, and with stock arriving daily we cater for the
specialist artist, craft enthusiast, model/hobby maker to the youngest of beginners. We also have a card and gift shop, toy and jigsaw puzzle department and our very own in house bespoke framing service. Not to mention our regular workshops, demonstrations and loyalty days (see in store). With discount on selected items when you buy in 5s, gift vouchers from £5 and parking round the back we really do have something for everyone.
The Art Shop is well known throughout the North-East and has even become one of the country’s leading art stores.
We are an Aladdin’s cave of hidden corners covering over 4500sq foot and containing the very best in materials and equipment with competitive prices our service is second to none with a trained staff always on hand to help with ideas, inspiration and information.
We’re open 9.30-5 Monday to Friday 9-5 on Saturdays and with so many attractions in the area we close on a Sunday
